If you play Titanfall ahead of its release this coming Tuesday, you don’t have to worry about getting banned just for logging in, says Respawn head Vince Zampella.

“About playing early: We won’t stop or ban legit copies,” he writes.

He does warn early players, though, that there may be some downtime as they prepare servers.

As Polygon notes, companies with big online launches like Halo and Call of Duty have threatened and made good on threats to ban early players in the past, sometimes banning the console for life if they believe it is a pirated copy of the game, or even just until launch.

If you’re lucky enough to get a early shipment or you “know a guy,” go ahead and log in. Just don’t complain when it goes down. At least, not until Tuesday.
