Google Play is turning two years old today after replacing the Android Market back in 2012. To celebrate the occasion, Google is giving away some of the popular apps for free while also offering discounts on some great music, movies, TV shows and e-books.

You can pick up the popular QuizUp game for free during the sale. You’ll also get in-game discounts for a number of games including The Sims FreePlay, Badland and FIFA 14. Google Play is offering up a handful of free songs while dropping several classic albums, such as Black Sabbath’s Paranoid and the Bee Gees’ Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, to just $3.99. There are also a ton of deals on popular movies such as The Great Gatsby, The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as on e-books, including five Dr. Seuss titles that are available for 99 cents each.

There are a ton of discounts to check out and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a fun new app to kill time, or a cheap deal on a magazine subscription. Head over to Google Play via the source link below to take advantage of today’s birthday discounts, but hurry because they’re only available for a limited time.
