Rumors are spinning out of control for a new Batman game announcement. Gamestop employees have already broken the seal, and now even Warner Bros. themselves might have ruined the surprise. The official Facebook page for Batman: Hush run by Warner Bros. has let on a big tease of who might be the villain in Rocksteady’s upcoming return to the Batman: Arkham series.
After his small appearance in a Batman: Arkham City side-quest, the supervillain Hush could be at the center of the next catastrophe in Arkham city. Hush isn’t the most recognizable of Batman villains, mostly because of his bandaged face, but his first appearance resulted in one of Batman’s most popular comic story arcs, Batman: Hush.
His role in the game would kill any chance of a Silver Age Batman game considering the character wasn’t even created until the early 2000s. Of course, this could just be DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins as well, and given the quality of that character model, it wouldn’t surprise me. However, considering his legendary status among Batman fans, I’d be more than happy to accept him in his own game.
Batman: Arkham Hush? I don’t think we’ll have to wait much longer to get the truth out of this story.
