If the constant stream of free games and discounts were not yet enough to convince you that PlayStation Plus is an amazing deal, then how about a free trial of Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s multiplayer?
Sony and Guerilla Games have announced that its flagship first-person shooter’s multiplayer will be made available for free, even for those who have not purchased the game yet! A special download will be thrown up on the PlayStation Store, meaning everyone can play for free from March 4th-11th without the fear of dropping money on the game or a PlayStation Plus subscription.
Sony is obviously hoping that the multiplayer will sell a few more copies of the game and possibly a few more subscriptions. In the meantime, the devious goal of this campaign is to distract enough PlayStation 4 owners from the impending stomping via giant robot that Killzone: Shadow Fall is destined to receive when Titanfall launches at the end of the week.
Sony’s reasoning for the push is that the new free DLC maps pack will be coinciding with the free multiplayer period as well as new community challenges.
Again, Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s multiplayer free period runs from March 4th until March 11th, closing on the same day that Titanfall launches. Where will you be falling when this all ends, with the shadows or the titans?
