A newly leaked image of the Samsung Chromebook 2 shows us the new laptop in all of its faux-stitched leather glory.
@evleaks gave us a brief taste of a new Samsung Chromebook yesterday with a close-up of the stitched leather look of what appeared to be the laptop screen’s back. All we could clearly see was the Chrome logo and the fake stitching which is a carry over from Samsung’s Note line of phablets and tablets.
Today @evleaks is back with a much fuller image and a possible that shows off a lot more of the device, along with suggesting the name will simply be the Samsung Chromebook 2.

We’re not quite sure why Samsung is bringing the Note’s design cue’s over to the Chromebook line, but if you look closely you can indeed see the fake stitching that we saw yesterday is indeed there.
No specs were provided, but we can clearly see a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB port on the side. It does also look to be extremely thin, which is never a bad thing.
Hopefully we learn more about the Samsung Chromebook 2 soon, and with these pictures showing up now, our guess would be that an announcement isn’t too far off.
