South Park: The Stick of Truth is mere days away. After some unfortunate and lengthy delays, it looks like we’re finally going to get our hands on what has to be one of the most anticipated licensed games ever.
This definitely isn’t the first South Park game. Since the series’ 1997 debut, South Park has been a shooter, a kart racing game, a party game, a platformer, and a tower defense game. Some of these have been more or less cheap cash-in games, others a bit more true to the series. South Park: The Stick of Truth is by far the most ambitious title to use the license.
The South Park parts of the game definitely feel authentic to the license, and if Obsidian can get its stuff together and release a game with a complete story and no game-breaking bugs (Unlike Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Fallout: New Vegas, respectively), South Park: The Stick of Truth could well be a classic.
We have just over 50 images from in-game screenshots to cutscene images and promotional art to check out while we wait the last few days until the game’s release.
Look forward to our review sometime this week!
