Have you been drooling over the idea of a 128GB microSD card, but were scared off by the price? Amazon has your back.
When Samsung announced that the Galaxy S5 will support microSD cards up to 128GB, SanDisk was quickly out of the gate to announce its first card in that capacity. The scary thing, however, was it came with a suggested retail price of $199.99. The nice thing is, as with all SRPs, the ‘S’ does stand for ‘suggested.’ Amazon has posted a listing for the new card, complete with a full-sized SD card adapter for just $119.99.
The site says the card won’t ship for two to three weeks, but considering the Galaxy S5 isn’t due for release until April, that’s perfect for making sure you can slap the card in to your brand new phone on day one. $120 isn’t exactly pocket change, but at least it’s under a dollar a gigabyte.
