Steve Jobs to Be Honored by US Postal Service with Stamp

Steve Jobs is a man whose vision revolutionized digital communication and put the entire world into the palms of his customer’s hands. Who can think of a better way to commemorate him than with a postage stamp from the U.S. Postal Service, an icon of the very industry his inventions are financially grilling?

The U.S. Postal Service has approved a Steve Jobs’ stamp to be released next year as part of a collectible series honoring American citizens and other icons for their contribution to the country. Jobs was recommended by the Citizen’s Stamp Advisory Committee, and he joins the ranks of Johnny Carson, Elvis Presley, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer among selections in other categories.
