LG Speed Tests Jelly Bean to KitKat on the G2 in a New Video

Ever wondered just how much faster KitKat can be than Jelly Bean? LG UK posted a video comparing the two versions of Android on the LG G2, and it wasn’t really a contest.

Android 4.4 KitKat will be rolling out to the LG G2 in the U.K. soon, and while it isn’t as if consumers need to be convinced to upgrade, the company still decided to show you some of the benefits you will receive. Running two LG G2s next to one another – one running 4.2 Jelly Bean, and the other running 4.4 KitKat – the phones are shown performing the same tasks to see which is faster. While many of you won’t be surprised by this, the LG G2 running KitKat was up to 17 percent faster than the Jelly Bean powered device.

According to the video KitKat will be rolling out in the U.K. beginning in mid-March. No word yet on when it will be coming to the other regions still waiting on it.
