Samsung Galaxy Note 3-Camera App-2

It’s been a week since Sprint rolled out Android 4.4 Kitkat update to Samsung Galaxy S4 phones, and now owners of its phablet big brother, the Galaxy Note 3, can join in on the fun. The long awaited update has been approved and should be on its way to you now.

As usual, you can wait for the update to hit your phone, or update on your own by accessing Menu>Settings>More>About Device. Some of you with a rooted phablet might even have the update already installed seeing as Samsung released the source code right after the update for the Galaxy S4 found its way into the public.

Besides the essential Android 4.4 update, the 503.6MB file includes changes to the lock screen with both music album art and a camera shortcut. Expect overall general speed and stability to be greatly improved as well.

Let us know if you get your update today. We’ll be waiting to hear from you in the comments section below.
