Last month during CES 2014 we saw the Asus PadFone Mini, a smaller version of the company’s PadFone Infinity product, and now we’re being treated to a full-sized PadFone Infinity Lite, which just broke cover today. The device was first spotted by Sogi.com, which said Asus officially announced it in Taiwan on Wednesday.

If you’re unfamiliar with Asus’ PadFone products, we’ll briefly explain: the devices are one part phone and one part tablet. The phone, when inserted into the tablet shell, ultimately powers the tablet and can even re-charge from a second built-in battery. In this case, the phone itself has a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and 32GB of internal storage. The tablet offers a 10.1-inch screen with a 1080p resolution and a 5,000mAh battery. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is a few versions of Android behind KitKat.

It’s unclear where the PadFone Infinity Lite will make its debut, and in which countries, but hopefully we learn more from Asus next week during Mobile World Congress.
