Metal Gear Solid V PlayStation 4 Bundaru is Real!

Oh South Park. How do you stay so amazing after all these years? While a little off in the description, the show’s Black Friday episode successfully guessed that the PlayStation 4 and Metal Gear Solid V would eventually be bundled together.

The guess wasn’t exactly hard to make though. Sony is struggling to market the console to gamers in Japan, and Metal Gear Solid V is without a doubt the highest profile Japanese game to be released on the system. Not only that, but the Metal Gear Solid 4┬áPlayStation 3 bundle was one of the biggest selling special editions of the previous console.

Same goes for the Metal Gear Solid 2 PlayStation 2 bundle. Why stop now?

Metal Gear Solid V PlayStation 4 Bundle

The new bundle features a DualShock 4 controller, a physical copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and a special model of the console with the FOXHOUND label emblazoned on the top. Everything you see here retails for 47,000 yen (approx. $470 USD).

Keep in mind though that there is no announcement of a Western release, and this remains a Japan-only product for the time being. This one might get released in America, but I think we’ll have a bigger chance of seeing it down the road packaged with both Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain once the bundle hits stateside.
