Verizon Nokia Lumia 928-Home Screen

Nokia and AT&T already rolled out the latest Lumia Black update to several phones, including the Lumia 1020, though competing devices were basically sitting in the dark… until now. Verizon and Nokia officially started rolling out the Lumia Black update to the Lumia 928 on Verizon Wireless recently.

Lumia Black adds a lot of improvements, but our favorite is Glance 2.0, which lets you see basic alert notifications on your lock screen. Also, it combines Nokia Refocus and Nokia’s advanced camera into a single Nokia Camera application. Refocus lets you tweak the focus of a shot after it is snapped, and you’ll find Nokia Camera now has more granular controls that were first introduced on the Lumia 1020.

If you’re a Lumia 928 owner, this is an update you should certainly take advantage of. You should be able to apply it over-the-air by visiting your phone’s settings menu.
