Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S5 in just ten short days, but one carrier just couldn’t wait for the official announcement. O2 Germany lit up a teaser page for the new smartphone today, promising a “Samsung that can do more” according to Google Chrome’s rough translation skills.
The Galaxy S5 teaser also confirms the device is coming in late February, which we already knew after Samsung sent out invitations for Unpacked 5 on Feb. 24. Other than that, O2’s new landing page doesn’t offer many details. The device itself is hidden, just barely visible beneath a wall of water, suggesting it might offer some sort of water-resistant coating similar to the Galaxy S4 Active.
Samsung’s done a pretty impressive job keeping the Galaxy S5 under wraps, and to be honest, we’re still not sure what to expect from the device. The company has promised a fresh design along with a new user interface, and we’re all but positive the new handset will sport a bigger screen than its predecessor. We won’t know anything for sure, however, until Samsung makes its official announcement later this month.
