Nexus 7 Verizon LTE Update

The Nexus 7 (2013) with LTE will receive a small 37MB over-the-air (OTA) update today that will allow the tablet to operate on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

Verizon already confirmed that the update was on its way when it announced that it will also start selling the tablet. Once you’ve installed the software patch, all you have to do is put your Verizon SIM card in and add it to your registered devices on your plan. Verizon charges $10 per month to keep the tablet activated on its network.

Verizon will begin selling the Nexus 7 (2013) today for $349.99, though you can pick one up for a limited time for $249.99 with a new two-year contract.
