Samsung’s Updated S Health App Leaks Online in New Screenshots

Samsung’s TouchWiz UI has been around for a while, and the company is expected to finally revamp its Android skin when it releases the Galaxy S5 later this year. Today, SamMobile released a massive gallery of screenshots showing the South Korean company’s new S Health app, which features a flatter design but similar functionality.

The updated S Health isn’t very different from earlier versions, but it’s definitely tweaked to offer similar design elements as Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat UI. The app does offer a few new options, however, including the ability to control your music and view your location on a map at the same time from one screen.

We’re still not quite sure what to expect from the next version of TouchWiz. Samsung recently unveiled its heavily modified Magazine UX with a new crop of tablets announced at CES 2014. However, the company has reportedly agreed to dial back its Android modifications in the future at Google’s request. While we likely won’t get a good look at the Galaxy S5’s new UI until the device gets an official unveiling, Samsung may give us a peek at the software during Mobile World Congress later this month.
