AT&T Offering $100 Credit to Add a New Line of Service

AT&T on Wednesday announced that it is offering a $100 credit to new and existing customers who decide to add a new line. That means new customers can walk into an AT&T store (or head to, and receive a $100 credit for opening an account, while existing customers can receive the same discount if they add a new line to an existing plan. The credit can be applied toward your monthly bill, and is offered for anyone who signs on for a new contract with a smartphone, tablet, feature phone, hotspot or wireless home phone.

“This $100 credit is a way we can reward our existing customers who add an additional line of service for their loyalty, and it’s an incentive for customers of Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and other wireless carriers to come to AT&T and enjoy the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network,” AT&T chief marketing officer David Christopher said.

AT&T said that, in order to receive the credit, you’l need to keep your account in good standing status for at least 45 days. The credit will be paid after three billing cycles. The deal, which kicks off today, ends on March 31.
