Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the “official handset”of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and who can think of a better way to commemorate the honor than releasing a special edition? Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 “Olympic Games Edition.”

No changes have been made to the specs, still sporting a 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080p Super AMOLED display, a quad-core 2.3GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage with microSD support, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, a 3200mAh battery, NFC, Android 4.3 right out of the box, and Samsung’s own TouchWiz.

The design has not been altered in any way apart from the official branding of the Olympics. To even further cement its lofty position in the sporting event, Samsung will be delivering a complimentary handset to all athletes participating in the games.

On the public front, Samsung only has a scheduled release for The Netherlands through provider KPN at the moment, and it comes packed with a special S View Flip Cover, tickets to ice skating, and a chance to win a trip to the Olympic Games from Feb. 6 to the 23.
