Get Ready to Interface with Jazzpunk

Even after seeing a trailer, I honestly don’t know what to tell you about Jazzpunk, other than that it’s from AdultSwim Games and is heading to Steam on Feb. 7.

The trailer above flashes by so many hacker and futuristic references so quickly – RoboCop, Johnny Mnemonic, and Kevin Mitnick just to name a few – that you’ll have to go through it frame-by-frame to catch them all. The game itself is described as a comedy-adventure offering. It looks to be first person, and you get to wield, at points, a sea turtle, a brain, and a spider, so I’m in.

AdultSwim games seems to have the concept of the parody game down perfectly, taking jabs at established genres while delivering an excellent experience. Jazzpunk looks to continue the trend, so look for it when it hits Steam in a couple weeks.
