As the release date nears for Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have taken to dropping more videos and assets. Today’s is a dev diary called “The Definitive Lara.”
The developer diary is voiced over by Scott Amos, Executive Producer on Tomb Raider. In it, Amos describes all of next-gen Lara’s features, from hair, to skin, to a higher fidelity head. All super weird things to consider for a female hero.
Whatever the case, the next-gen version of Lara Croft looks fantastic. If Crystal Dynamics can take what they’ve learned from upgrading last year’s Tomb Raider title for the new consoles and apply that to whatever’s next in their take on the series, fans like us are set.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Jan. 28, 2014. The title will sell for $59.99.
