Isis “Cashwrap” iPhone Case Coming to AT&T Stores, Rumors Says

Incipio‘s already made a name for itself making some of the best waterproof smartphone cases money can buy, but now the company is expanding with a new iPhone accessory designed to allow easy mobile payments using  Isis. The NFC-packing Incipio Cashwrap will allegedly launch at AT&T stores in the very near future, according to an Engadget report citing an anonymous tipster.

Apple may refuse to stock its smartphones with NFC chips, but that doesn’t mean you can’t turn your iPhone into mobile payment machine. The Cashwrap, which Incipio first unveiled back at CES 2013 over a year ago, features a slot for your micro-NFC chip. Slide in the chip, attach the case, and you’ll be directed to the Isis Mobile Wallet app that lets you charge payments through your iPhone.

According to Engadget’s source, the Incipio Cashwrap will cost $70. There’s no word on when it will get an official launch, but AT&T reportedly already has the accessory in stock so it shouldn’t be long now before it’s out on display. AT&T declined to comment on this story.
