The upcoming HTC One successor could be headed to AT&T’s network, according to a user agent profile uncovered by Twitter tipster @evleaks. The online document reveals the device will use the GSM standard supported by AT&T as well as T-Mobile.
The UAprof also reveals the new HTC One will offer a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, bucking the trend of 2k screens we’re expecting to see on the next generation of flagship handsets. The device is shown running the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, and will likely run HTC’s latest Sense 6 user interface on top.
Based on previous leaks, we expect the HTC One successor to pack a 5-inch display, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, and an improved Ultrapixel camera. Recent reports suggest the new device could be unveiled as early as next month at MWC 2014, which suggests it could be on the market soon after. HTC’s next flagship will need to turn a lot of heads, specifically as it continues to lose market share to smartphone rivals. Will the next One be enough to make that happen?
