The Last of Us DLC

The Last of Us‘ first DLC expansion, Left Behind, finally as a release date, and wouldn’t you know it? It’s set for the most romantic day of the year, Valentine’s Day. Why not splurge and buy that special someone a trip back into The Last of Us‘ world for $14.99?

Who needs more chocolate, anyway? Nothing says I love you like a rabid and murderous infected man with puss dripping from his swollen face and a horrific creaking voice trying to rip you limb from limb.

Left Behind stars heroine Ellie before she met Joel. She is younger and more full of life and “playfulness,” and she even has a best friend named Riley. The two often go for strolls outside the safety zone’s walls and even end up stabbing the heart out of an infected being or two. What’s a better symbol of love and friendship than that?

Check out Left Behind if you are a fan of The Last of Us on Valentine’s Day for the PlayStation 3. I won’t mention the date again, because hopefully you heart-throbs out there already have it marked in your day planner. (psst… it’s February 14th) And please, don’t cancel that romantic date just to play video games. Your significant other will not be happy.
