Steam has pushed its influence and expanded greatly over a very prosperous year. Since last October, when the digital distribution service had reported 65 million active users, the number has spiked dramatically pulling in 10 million new customers alone over a two and a half month period. The new tally stands at 75 million users, as Valve reports from Steam Dev Days.

It is booming markets like Brazil and Russia which are seeing the biggest jump in sales, jumping 75 percent and 128 percent since last year.
