Broken Age is Out for Backers, Here Are Two New Trailers

by Joey Davidson | January 15, 2014January 15, 2014 3:30 pm PST

Double Fine’s adventure effort that set records for video games on Kickstarter nearly two years ago is finally making its way to backers. The first act of Broken Age is now available to those who paid $15 or more during Kickstarter, and all the slacker backers that came along after the campaign ended.

The plot of Broken Age revolves around two separate heroes, one in the future and one in the past. Vella’s up first, and you can see her trailer at the head of this post.

Next is Shay, the male side of this two protagonist equation.

If you didn’t notice, Shay is voiced by Elijah Wood. In fact, the whole game has a slew of actors you’ll likely recognize. Jack Black even makes an appearance.

Broken Age will be available on Steam for non-backers on Jan. 28 and will be available or the PC, Mac and Linux platforms. Mobile versions of the game are also on the way.

Have you been playing Broken Age? I know I have.
