During the 2014 Consumer Electronics show, Panasonic’s consumer president Julie Bauer took the stage to discuss the company’s 4K strategy in the consumer market. “Technology has an endless list of content options, so much so that it’s getting hard to watch,” she said. “It’s time to redefine a 21st century TV.”
Bauer described a TV that recognizes you by your fave, and knows what you want to watch before you even turn it on. A TV that “knows when you walk by, and responds by providing useful information from the cloud.” Panasonics Life+ sScreen can offer all of this through several new features, including myStream. It also features voice assistant for commands, an info bar with important information when you need it at the bottom of the display.
Panasonic said Life+ Screen will be featured on all of its 2014 4K UHD and 1080p TVs. The first TV will include the AX800 series TVs in 58-inch and 65-inch sizes, coming this year.
