AT&T just confirmed during the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show that it will, indeed, offer the LG G Flex, one of the first smartphones with a massive 6-inch curved display that is capable of flexing.
As a quick refresher, the G Flex is equipped with a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a 6-inch display with a 1280 x 720-pixel resolution, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, a large 3,500mAh battery and more. Oddly, it runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and it’s unclear if Android 4.4 KitKat is coming anytime soon. Still, you get the super unique curved display form factor, which isn’t available anywhere else in the United States on a contract.
AT&T didn’t reveal pricing, though we imagine it will come in at around $199 – $299 with a new two-year contract. The carrier said it will launch the G Flex this quarter, so expect it within the next three months.
