LG’s Franke Lee took the stage during CES 2014 to discuss the LG G Flex, a smartphone that made its debut in late 2013 with a curved display and a curved battery.
Lee said the G Flex is easier to hold, to hear, and to view than most other smartphones on the market. The curved shape improves audio because it fits the contour of your face. The sound volume can also resonate off of the surface of a tablet, improving the audio experience. The display, Lee argues, is more immersive than any other display on the market today. We already heard about this when it was first announced, but it’s now coming to the U.S.
It will hit Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile during the first quarter of this year. Pricing was not revealed.
