Asus is making a ton of announcements during this year’s 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, and has so far discussed new smartphones, dual-booting tablets and more. Now, we’re taking a look at another new announcement, the VivoTab Note 8. The device ships with a Wacom digitizer stylus, which means it can be used for sketching, taking notes and more, similar to how the Galaxy Note devices function.
The VivoTab Note 8 runs Windows 8.1 and is equipped with an 8-inch display that has a 1,280 x 800-pixel resolution. It’s powered by an Intel Atom Z3470 processor and has 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera, an HD front-facing camera, up to 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for adding even more storage and a 15.5Whr battery.
Asus has not yet revealed pricing, and it didn’t provide a release date for the VivoTab Note 8. We’ll be looking to hunt it down for some hands-on impressions, so be sure, so check back for more information.
