Lenovo on Thursday, just ahead of the CES 2014 trade show, officially unveiled its newest unlocked Android smartphone, the Vibe Z. The device sits at the high-end of its family of devices, which are split into the A series (mass market), the S Series (mid-range) and the Vibe series (high-end).
The Vibe Z is equipped with 4G LTE support, a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p IPS display with 400ppi, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing wide-angle lens, Bluetooth 4.0 and more. It also weighs just 147 grams and has a laser-etched fabric-feel rear cover for a more premium looking design.
Lenovo didn’t reveal an exact launch date, but said that consumers can expect to pick it up for $549 when it hits the market. We’ll be sure to check out the new Vibe Z during CES next week.
