Lenovo announced four new smartphones on Thursday, including the Vibe Z, S930 (pictured above), S650 and A859. The Vibe Z is its high-end smartphone that we already covered, and now we’ll discuss its other devices. As a refresher, Lenovo’s S series devices offer mid-range specs, while its A-series devices are designed to cater to the mass market.
The S930 has a 6-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display, a MediaTek quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, an 8-megapixel camera, runs Android 4.2, and supports gesture-based controls. Meanwhile, the S650 (pictured above) offers the same processor, dual-SIM support, camera, and also runs Android 4.2, but has a smaller 4.7-inch display with a lower 960 x 540-resolution. The S930 and S650 will launch for $319 and $219 respectively, though Lenovo didn’t provide details on an exact launch date.
Meanwhile, the A859 (pictured above) is also a dual-SIM Android 4.2 smartphone. It offers a 5-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display, a MediaTek 6582 processor, an 8-megapixel camera and more. It will start at just $219 and will be available in white or black.
All of the phones should be on display during CES 2014 next week, so be sure to check back for our hands-on coverage of these devices.
