Samsung is expected to flood the market with new tablets early next year with a fresh army of new Android slates ranging from entry-level to high-end models. Trusted tipster @evleaks has chimed in, revealing that one new Galaxy Note Pro device will land on AT&T.
While @evleaks doesn’t offer any more details on the SM-P907A, we have to assume he’s referring to the rumored Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet we’ve heard so much about in the past few months. The new device’s model number is an obvious follow-up to the redesigned Galaxy Note 10.1 (SM-P600) as opposed to the Note 3 phablet (SM-N900). Then again, the Note 12.2’s model number was previously leaked as either SM-P900 or SM-P901, suggesting this could be an entirely new device, though it seems more likely Samsung is simply experimenting with several different variations.
Samsung has yet to confirm any of the rumors surrounding the alleged Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, leaving us with a handful of alleged specs for the moment. The device is expected to pack a 2,560 x 1600-pixel display, 3GB of RAM, a 9500mAh battery, and run Android 4.4 KitKat. We won’t know anything about the rumored tablet for sure until Samsung makes an official announcement, either next month at CES or in February during the MWC trade show in Barcelona.
