Nokia’s Lumia 929 Windows Phone is apparently destined for Verizon Wireless at some point, though there have been plenty of leaks and yet nary a word from Verizon on the device’s launch date. Now, we can add yet another leak to the list.
Wireless Ground recently published images of an accessory called the “Armor Stand Case” that pictures the Lumia 929 clear as day. As with earlier leaks, we can see that it has support for three columns of icons on one screen, like the Lumia 1520, lending credit to reports that the phone has a larger 1080p screen. We can also see a black body, though we hope Verizon decides to offer a few colors, and a cutout where the phone’s alleged 20-megapixel camera will sit. Other rumors have also pointed to a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Verizon clearly isn’t trying to get the announcement out before the holidays, so maybe this is something we’ll see during the Consumer Electronics Show early next month.
