Verizon Knocks $50 Off Moto X Price Until End of Year

If you’re a Verizon customer who has been holding out on a Moto X, now is the time to pull the trigger. Verizon Wireless is now selling the smartphone with a $50 discount, which means you can get the 16GB model for just $50 or the 32GB model for $100 with a new two-year contract. To top it off, the deal also applies to the bamboo model, though you’ll still need to pay an additional $100 for that back panel.

The deal specifically applies to the Moto Maker site, so you’ll first have to go through the steps to customize your phone. During that process, you’re still going to see the $99 or $149 price tag on the left-hand side of the page. Pay it no attention, because once you begin to move to the checkout process, you’ll see a $50 discount will be applied before you enter in your payment information.

The Moto X will make an excellent gift this holiday season, particularly if you know someone who wants to stand out a bit more with a custom device, but also because Motorola keeps it updated with the freshest software available. Go ahead, order one for yourself, we won’t tell anyone.
