The Galaxy S4 Zoom landed on AT&T just last month for $199.99, but Amazon already has a deal on the camera/smartphone hybrid. Shoppers can now purchase the device for just a penny with a new contract, or it will cost $49.99 for anyone upgrading from an old device. The Galaxy S4 Zoom currently retails for $149.99 directly from AT&T, also down from its original price, so that’s a nice chunk of savings if you choose to buy from Amazon.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED 540 x 960-pixel display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Cortex A9 processor, a 16-megapixel camera with 10x zoom and xenon flash, 8GB of storage with microSD support, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 2,330 mAh Li-Ion battery. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box, though an upgrade to Android 4.3 is allegedly in the works.
If you’re looking for a new phone with a great camera and a budget friendly price tag this may be the device for you, especially if you’re looking for optical zoom. If you want another high-end camera phone to consider, check out the Lumia 1020, which packs an even more incredible 41-megapixel camera.
