Christopher Nolan’s new sci-fi film, Interstellar, got its first teaser trailer on Saturday, though it’s noticeably light on plot-revealing clues. Nolan has had his hand in the previous three Batman films, along with Inception, so that alone is enough to get people excited about his next project, which will allegedly focus on time travel and alternate dimensions. The teaser itself focuses on the history of human achievement and our ability to find a way to overcome. How will that figure in to the story?
The official synopsis says the film will focus on a team of scientists embarking on a journey to explore a wormhole “to transcend previous limitations on human space travel.” Other details are being kept secret, and little else is revealed in the new teaser, though it’s still enough to excite fans of the sci-fi genre. Unfortunately, Interstellar doesn’t hit theaters until November 2014, so we’re still quite a long ways away from its release. The cast includes Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, among other big names.
