The Elder Scrolls Online PC and Console Release Dates Announced

The Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda’s highly-anticipated online RPG, The Elder Scrolls Online, finally has its release dates announced, and depending on whether you are going the console or PC route will determine when you can play the game.

PC and Mac players will be able to take first stab at the online world when the game releases on April 4th. They’ll have plenty of time to uncover leveling tricks, set up an economy, find all of Cyrodiil’s secrets, and get the community running. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers will be able to join in shortly after in June.

In addition to the release date announcement, Bethesda also provided a new PVP trailer which shows off the massive number of characters who can participate in the battles. It’s staggering, but the new “megaservers” that Bethesda says it’s working on seem to be able to get the job done.

I can’t wait for the release of The Elder Scrolls Online, mostly because its completion means Bethesda can start putting more manpower and resources into Fallout 4. Once this slow-burn money factory goes live, Bethesda will have a nice stream of cash flow, allowing it to finish the latest post-apocalyptic project.
