Motorola began rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat faster than any other manufacturer on the block, and the update has already arrived to the models being sold on AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Now, the update is available for Sprint subscribers, too.
You’ll get most of the new features inside Android 4.4 KitKat, including the revised search bar, a revamped dialer, a new Photos gallery application and more, though it doesn’t add the far left “Google Now” panel that’s available on the Nexus 5, which has an untouched version of Android 4.4 KitKat. It also doesn’t add the awesome business search to the dialer, which is available on the Nexus 5. Other features include an updated camera app (which is also being updated yet again through Google Play) and new emoji.
You can manually check for the update under settings > software, though it’s also rolling out over the and and you should just see a notification when it arrives.
