HTC on Thursday quietly unveiled a black HTC One Max, adding an element of stealth to the Taiwanese company’s phablet. As with the HTC One, which initially launched in silver only, the new Max is decked out in a svelte coat of black paint, giving potential Max owners another option to choose from. That fingerprint scanner no longer sticks out like a sore thumb.

While the device is currently adorning HTC’s website, it’s unclear when and where you can get it. UnwiredView says expect to see it in Hong Kong. Black certainly looks handsome on HTC’s now famous line of aluminum One devices, but better than silver? That’s up to you to decide. The device still sports the same specs, so there’s nothing new on that front, but it definitely keeps the line fresh.
