The latest in Samsung’s Galaxy Note series of phablets has proven to be far and away be the most successful yet. The Galaxy Note 3 hit the scene only two months ago, and it has already crossed the 10 million units shipped mark.
Samsung’s popular devices have broken records left and right with each passing release, so comparing this record to previous Samsung products is the only way to make sense of these mind boggling figures. For starters, the Galaxy Note 3 has doubled the sales pace of its predecessor, the Galaxy Note II; it took Samsung about four and a half months to sell 10 million units of that device.
The Galaxy Note II isn’t the only comparable device though. It took Samsung only 50 days to sell 10 million units of its super popular Galaxy S4 flagship smartphone.
Taking swipes at Samsung’s prized flagship phone is no easy task, and the Galaxy Note 3 has received nothing but positive press since release which is no doubt helping sales. We ourselves gave it high marks in our review. How will Samsung outdo itself next time?
