Apple has launched its annual “12 Days of Gifts” giveaway app for the 2013 holiday season, but this time gets it an extra special welcome now that Americans are allowed to join in on the festive holiday spirit of getting free stuff.

For the first time ever, the app will be released in the United States iTunes store. Each day from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6, Apple will unveil a new free song, app, book, or movie on iTunes that users will be able to snag for free. Once the day is over, the sale is completed and another item will be made available.

From 26 December – 6 January, you can download a gift each day—songs, apps, books, movies, and more—with the 12 Days of Gifts app. Each day’s gift will only be available for 24 hours, so download the free app to make sure you don’t miss out. Please note: Not all content is available in all countries.

Any bets on what will be available? I’m always down for free stuff.
