Just days after Google began rolling out Android 4.4.1 KitKat to the Nexus 5, the search giant has already unleashed an addendum with even more fixes. Reports late Monday began flooding the Internet that Android 4.4.2 has begun hitting airwaves for some select Nexus devices, bringing with it a host of bug fixes and enhancements. It doesn’t appear as though anything major has been added—just some typical improvements to keep the experience feeling fresh.
Folks are saying the update will be arriving on the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 over the next week or so, so keep your eye out in the meantime. Our Nexus 5 hasn’t even received Android 4.4.1, and maybe this is why. Perhaps we’ll see a nice chunky update with all the fixes, including the better camera, over the next few days.
