Does Samsung have something to show us on Monday, Dec. 9? The company on Friday quietly released a teaser video hinting that something “Just for you” is imminent. It’s difficult to tell what’s inbound, but it sure looks like design is being heavily emphasized. Whether that means we will see Samsung use materials other than plastic remains to be seen. There’s a shot that begins around the ten second mark in particular that certainly highlights the device’s design.
Other details to be gleaned from the video include Galaxy Gear support, LTE, a very thin profile and an overall beautiful design in what will likely be a phablet package. Perhaps the biggest detail of all is revealed at the eight second mark, quickly showing model number SC-02F, which is what is associated with the Galaxy J in Japan. As a quick refresher, the Galaxy J features a 5-inch, 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel camera and 2,600mAh battery.
