Razer iPhone Game Controller Leaks Online

It looks like gaming hardware designer Razer is jumping into the iPhone controller market, according to a new Twitter post from mobile leaker @evleaks. The company will join the likes of Logitech and MOGA, using Apple’s own MFi accessories program to design its own product.

Like Logitech’s model, the leaked Razer iPhone controller features a rectangular design with four buttons (A,B, X, Y) on the right above a pause button, a directional pad on the left, and two triggers up top. Razer’s one distinct feature, however, appears to be a hinge allowing the iPhone to tilt up to 45 degrees, making it useful for watching videos as well as gaming.

Razer has made a name for itself designing computers and other hardware specifically for gamers, but is perhaps most noted for its mice. The company prides itself on being completely devoted to gaming, boasting the motto “For Gamers, By Gamers.” Based on its commitment to gaming and its current designs we’re expecting something great from Razer. We can’t wait to see this rumored new iPhone accessory hit the market.
