Microsoft and Major Nelson have dropped a brand new video featuring some tips for using the Xbox One. Most of it is fairly obvious and common sense stuff.
However, there are a few tips and tricks in the so-named video that should be helpful to more technologically affluent users out there. For instance, saying “Xbox Select,” as shown in the clip, brings up all potential voice commands on your current screen.
There’s room for improvement with the Xbox One’s UI, but this nice brush of what the system can do at launch is fairly interesting.
I find it’s odd that I can’t look up current storage numbers for my system’s hard drive and that there’s no way to check the battery life of a controller. These are UI points that were standard for all machines during the last generation, it seems weird that they’re missing from this one on the new Xbox.
If you own an Xbox One, how are you liking the experience?
