Is there a better way to spend a Valentine’s evening with a loved one than binge watching the fictional portrayal of corrupt politics in Washington D.C. that is House of Cards?

Netflix has officially announced when the second season of its stunning political drama will be made available. Starting February 14th, 2014, viewers can take in the next chapter of Kevin Spacey and House of Cards. As per usual, the whole season will be up on Instant Watch straight away.

The second season’s start date was announced by way of a 30 second clip. The video might seem strange to those unfamiliar with the show, as it features Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, in her usual position of smoking while contemplatively staring out the window.

I wasn’t sold on the first season of House of Cards until my wife and I decided to shut up and give it a try. A few days passed, and we watched the entire first season. We’ve been dying for more ever since.

I guess I know how we’re spending our Valentine’s Day. How about you folks?
