VSCO Cam for Android Hitting Google Play Dec. 3

VSCO Cam, one of the best mobile photo-editing apps for iOS, will arrive on Android on Dec. 3. The company announced the news on Monday, revealing that the app is finally coming out of beta for all Android users to enjoy. When it officially launches, the experience will come with 10 Presets, Tools and 38 additional custom Presets via in-app purchases—otherwise the app itself is free. VSCO Cam has steadily become one of the premier editing applications for mobile, and that same experience will finally be opened up to the legions of Android users.

The app will be available for “most Android 4.0+ devices,” which means some select handsets will unfortunately be left out. In addition to the available Tools and Presets, VSCO Grid, essentially your own online gallery of images you upload to VSCO Cam, will be accessible from the outset. The app itself is meant to imbue photos with a certain mood or feeling, giving users a ton of control over the image’s outcome. If you take mobile photography seriously, you need to get this app right away.

The images above were all taken and processed with the VSCO Cam app for Android.
