Steam Hits 7.19 Million Concurrent Users

What were you doing this past weekend?

If you call the United States home, you were probably sleeping off a tryptophan induced coma brought on by rounds of leftover turkey and that stuffing only your mom knows how to make. Between bouts of cranberry sauce and gravy intake, you might have hopped on Steam to play a few games or check out a few deals in their autumn sale.

Turns out a lot of you did that. In fact, beyond the US, a lot of gamers around the world hit Steam this past weekend. The PC gaming network enjoyed a new peak of 7,190,499 users on at once.

Seven. Million. Gamers.

Pretty awesome. Remember a few years ago when analysts were pointing to the imminent death of PC gaming? Pffffft.
