Motorola unveiled the DROID Ultra and Mini back in July alongside the DROID Maxx, but now it looks like the two mid-range handsets may get a white paint job, according to trusted mobile tipster @evleaks.
The DROID Ultra comes equipped with a 5-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, a 10-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2130mAh battery, and currently comes in red or black. The DROID Mini offers extremely similar specs, sporting the same processor, cameras and battery as the Ultra, but with a smaller 4.3-inch screen.
The DROID Ultra and Mini are both fine devices, currently selling for $99 and $49 respectively from Verizon. You may also want to consider Motorola’s flagship Moto X, which offers solid features and a sleeker design at a similar price point, plus, you get to choose the color you want through Moto Maker.
There’s no word on when these new variant will hit the market, though we wouldn’t be surprised to see them in stores in time for some last-minute holiday shopping.
