Nexus 7 (2013) Price Marked Down at Amazon

Amazon’s going for blood this holiday season. In a clear effort to outdo its competitors as early as possible, the company is already dropping the price of the Nexus 7 (2013) tablet.

The 16GB model is now available for $199, while the 32GB model is available for $239. If you go through Google directly, or a retail store such as Best Buy or Target, you’re going to end up paying $229 for the 16GB model or $269 for the 32GB model, which means you’re saving $30 off of both tablets. Meanwhile, Best Buy, Walmart, Target and other retailers are still fighting to see who can get their Black Friday deals started first. While all three retailers will have their normal sales, Walmart is already sticking its neck out by offering Black Friday price matching for the entire week before.

We have a feeling the sale on the Nexus 7 is just a taste of what’s to come from Amazon this holiday season. After all, the online retailer is already promising a new deal every 10 minutes during the entire Black Friday week.
